Autism Dog Services Inc.

puppy 1Our wonderful breeders have found us some fantastic puppies.  Now all we need are amazing people in the Guelph/KW-Cambridge/Brantford/Hamilton areas to cuddle these cuties and help raise them to be successful service dogs.  The key purpose of the foster puppy program is to socialize and train puppies. Volunteer foster puppy raisers are responsible for taking ADS puppies out in public in their service dog jacket often to expose the puppies to unfamiliar environments such as shopping malls, as well as attending bi-weekly puppy classes.  We provide the food and pay the usual vet bills, as well as support you with qualified trainers and a dedicated Puppy Raiser Coordinator to answer your questions.  Puppies spent an average of 1.5 years in their foster homes – and foster raisers of successful pups can see them graduate and often stay in touch with their service family.   For more info and to fill out an application go to: http://www.autismdogservices.ca/index.php/volunteer/foster-a-puppy
